Nepalis stranded in Malaysia

Kuala Lumpur, May 10:

Dozens of Nepali youths, who had reached Malaysia for employment, have been stranded here.

Some 53 workers, who came here 45 days ago, with job contracts from the Cosmo Care Consultant S/B Company of Am Pang, have been handed over to Malaysian labour agents and have been working under their command, it is reported.

Meanwhile, the stranded youths have filed a complaint in the Ministry of Labour and Transport Management in Kathmandu, through the Nepali Embassy and Nepal Migrant Workers’ Association Branch, Malaysia, seeking help to reach home, said a victim Kamal Upreti.
