Nepal's acting PM extends condolence on Thai King's death

KATHMANDU: Nepal's Acting Prime Minister and Minister for Home Affairs Bimalendra Nidhi visited the Thai envoy to Nepal and expressed condolences on behalf of the goverment and people of Nepal on the demise of Thai King Bhumibol Adulyadej, in Kathmandu, on Sunday.

The Deputy Prime Minister visited Ek-att Thitaram, Charge d'Affaires ad interim of Thailand, and conveyed condolences and sympathies to the Royal family, government and people of Thailand, a press release issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated today.

Earlier, President Bidya Devi Bhandari had also wrote to the Thai Crown Prince Maha Vajiralongkorn and extended condolences on the demise of the world's longest reigning monarch.
