CPN-UML politburo member Sher Dhan Rai today said the new government would be formed by the last week of February.

Laying the foundation stone of La Jyalo Wangthop Gumba in Rupakot Majhuwagadhi Municipality, Khotang,  Rai held that the provincial government would be formed in all seven provinces by mid-February and a stable and strong government led by the left alliance would be formed by the end of February. “The new government will establish peace and political stability,” he added.

The UML leader further said the new government would expedite infrastructure projects for the development of the country. “Physical infrastructure has to be developed and each part of the country has to be connected with roads,” he said, adding that the drinking water pipes have to be extended to every household, electricity service has to reach every part of the country. “People should not be derived of education and health facilities,” he said.

Former communications Minister Rai said job opportunities had to be created in the country.
