New statute ensures rights of all: Acharya

Minister for Forest and Soil Conservation Mahesh Acharya has said there was no doubt the new constitution would ensure all people’s rights.

Addressing the Forest Festival organised jointly by the forest offices of Rupandehi, Nawalparasi, Kapilvastu and Palpa districts at Shankarnagar of Rupandehi district today, he said the constitution would be promulgated on the basis of pluralism and it would ensure the rights of all communities, linguistic groups, cultures and ethnicities.“There is no doubt that the nation would have a state structure based on federalism,” he said.

Acharya said the relation of all the communities, religions and cultures is linked with land and forest and urged all to work with unity for conservation of forests.
