Next Nepali Congress convention should reinforce unity, says Koirala

POKHARA: Former Prime Minister and the President of Nepali Congress (NC) Sushil Koirala said that the upcoming 13th national general convention of the party should spread the message of unity, in Pokhara of Kaski district on Friday.

He, however, did not explain how unity would be reinforced in the party gala.

Neither did the incumbent chief of the largest political party clearly mention if he would run for the presidency again. "Self-promotion across the nation is wrong," he maintained.

The party should move ahead following late BP Koirala's reconciliation policy, he added.

The former Prime Minister further said the demands of the United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) could be solved through dialogues. However, the incumbent KP Sharma Oil-led government did nothing expect expanding the jumbo Cabinet, he charged.
