NHRC member’s concern

Janakpurdham, June 4:

National Human Rights Commission member Sudip Pathak today said differences in opinions expressed by the government ministers and the Maoist leaders regarding resolving the problems ailing the country have “terrorised” people.

He said this while speaking at an interaction organised here today.

“It is necessary that both the government ministers and Maoist leaders express similar views on resolving the problems, otherwise, it gives the views that they are ignoring the people’s aspirations,” he said.

He said the NHRC is a state body, but does not belong to the government only.
