KATHMANDU, SEPTEMBER 29

CPN-UML Chairperson KP Sharma Oli asserted that there is no viable alternative to the current coalition government in Nepal.

Speaking to journalists at Biratnagar Airport on Friday, he commented that another government would not be formed until the main responsible party recognized its significance.

Chairperson Oli clarified that, at the moment, they have not considered the possibility of forming a new government in collaboration between the UML and NC (Nepali Congress).

Furthermore, the former Prime Minister, Oli, accused the incumbent coalition government of neglecting the interests of the people and the country. He emphasized the importance of the stability of the Koshi province government and urged political parties to carefully consider avoiding a mid-term election as a solution to the current crisis.

He claimed that if a mid-term election were to take place, the UML would secure a majority in the Koshi province.
