Say no to political pressure, IG Aryal tells police

BHIMDUTTANAGAR: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Upendra Kant Aryal today said the police should not work under political pressure.

Speaking at an interaction on 'Peace, Security and Crime Control' organised by the Kanchanpur District Police Office, IGP Aryal stressed that the police must work on the basis of justice and facts.

"When the political pressure mounts, we should listen to it; but while working, it should be based on justice, facts and within the legal boundary," he shared.
