No seat for minister!

KATHMANDU: Minister of Industry, Commerce and Supplies Matrika Prasad Yadav abruptly left the venue of the Nepal Investment Summit on Friday after he could not find a vacant seat in the area reserved for ministers.

Industry Secretary Yam Kumari Khatiwada and Binod Prasad Singh, director general at the Department of Industry, also followed the minister. Yadav is said to be sore as his role has been subdued by Finance Minister Yuba Raj Khatiwada this investment summit.

Yadav was also absent in the press meet organised by the Ministry of Finance on the eve of the summit.
