Nobody should obstruct CA polls: Nepal
Janakpurdham, January 18:
CPN-UML General Secretary Madhav Kumar Nepal has today said the CA polls should not be made an issue for bargaining.
Addressing a zonal level party cadres’ gathering here, he said the major demands of Tarai have been solved and other demands will be met after the polls.
Except for the royalists and the pro-royalists, nobody would create an obstruction to the polls, he said. Urging the agitating forces in Tarai to come for talks, he said a committee comprising UML leader Ram Chandra Jha, Raghibir Mahaseth and Ratneshwor Goit has been formed to create an atmosphere for talks in Tarai, he said.
Saying that the major demands of Tarai including federalism, delimitation of constituencies, providing Rs 10 lakh to the families of each person killed during the Madhes agitation have been fulfilled, he said all those trying to disrupt the CA polls should come to talks now.
