KATHMANDU:   An inspection team of the government on Thursday has sealed the Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC)'s Bhalwari pump in Rupandehi district for irregularities in fuel distribution.

Rupandehi Chief District Officer Bishnu Prasad Dhakal told the Rastriya Samachar Samiti that the pump was sealed after the monitoring team found that it was using double nozzle while distributing the fuel.

Use of double nozzle dispenses less oil than what the indicator shows during distribution.

The monitoring team also included representatives of Nepal Bureau of Standards & Metrology (NBSM), police and media persons, according to the RSS.

Meanwhile, the team is monitoing other fuel stations in the district.
