DAMAULI: A 90-year-old woman was critically injured after she was hit by a bus at Markichok of Abu Khaireni in Tanahaun district on Wednesday.

The bus with the registration number Na 5 Kha 3629 was en route to Muglin of Chitwan from Pokhara of Kaski before it hit Jayasara Gurung at Markichok along the Prithvi Highway.

Tanahaun District Police Office said Gurung, who sustained serious injuries, received primary treatment at Laxmi Hospital in Damauli.

Later, she was referred to Bharatpur-based Purano Medical Hall in Chitwan district.
