Noodles factory office locked
Kavre, March 11:
The pro-Maoist All Nepal Trade Unions’ Federation of Industrial Workers’ Association, today
padlocked the administration office of the Himalayan Snacks and Noodles at Janagal in Kavre asking the wages to the employees for the 22 days the factory was closed. The Labour Department had also issued a verdict to this effect.
The workers have demanded 22 days’ wages, in line with the agreement reached between the factory management and workers on January 8.
“The factory office was padlocked after the management did not fulfill our demands,” secretary of the association, Ramesh Chaudhari said.
