NSP-A renews call to sack Minister Gupta

Rajbiraj, January 24:

The national working committee meeting of Nepal Sadbhawana Party Anandidevi (NSP-A) has decided to quit the seven party alliance and the parliament if their ex-leader Shyam Sunder Gupta is not expelled from the government. Gupta is a minister for Industry, Commerce and Supply.

“We have given the government seven days to expel him. We would quit the seven party alliance if the government do not listen us,” vice-president of NSP-A, Khusilal Mandal said in a press conference organised here today.

In the conference, they also decided to ask for the resignation of their three MPs from the parliament.

The meeting also decided to form a committee with the objective of holding talks and working with all the Madhes groups.

The party’s president Anandidevi Singh was present in the press meet.
