Oli-Dahal meet at Balkot, preparing to give special directives to task force

KATHMANDU: A meeting between UML Chairperson KP Sharma Oli and CPN Maoist Centre's Pushpa Kamal Dahal is preparing to give special directives to newly formed task force assigned to carry out homework on formation of National Assembly, Provincial Head and Provincial Government.

The National Assembly Election is scheduled for February 7.

Dahal has reached KP Sharma Oli's residence at Balkot this morning.

Oli has been going to Bangkok for regular health checkups since undergoing kidney transplantation in New Delhi in 2007.

Former PM Oli will undergo routine health checkup at the Bumrunggrad International Hospital in the Thai Capital, according to Party Secretary Pradeep Gyawali.

He will leave Thailand via Thai Airways flight at 12:00 pm this afternoon.

Oli is scheduled to return home on 16 January.
