Minister for Forest and Soil Conservation Agni Prasad Sapkota today said the current government will last even after completion of its honeymoon period.

Speaking at a press meet organised by Federation of Revolutionary Journalists in Bharatpur, Minister Sapkota noted that it was some ministers’ individual remarks that government’s days were numbered.

On the question of bifurcation of ministries, Minister Sapkota said the government had to bifurcate the ministries due to unavoidable circumstances. “It is not good to bifurcate the ministries, but the government had no other choice,” he added.

Minister Sapkota pledged that government would improve its performance in the days ahead.
