Oli-led govt’s days numbered, says Yadav

Birgunj, March 4

Federal Socialist Forum-Nepal Chairman Upendra Yadav today said the KP Sharma Oli-led government’s days were numbered.

Speaking at a meeting of his party in Birgunj, Yadav claimed that the incumbent government would fall in a matter of days. “This government will fall due to its own weaknesses. No one can stop this from happening,” said Yadav.

Yadav said Indian leaders had directed Prime Minister KP Oli to amend the constitution during his recent visit to India.

Stating that neighbours and friendly countries had termed the constitution flawed, he said pressure was building up from inside and outside the country to address the demands raised by the United Democratic Madhesi Front. Yadav informed that the UDMF was preparing to launch a decisive agitation in the country.

“The next agitation will be nationwide,” said Yadav. He said the agitation would continue until the constitution guaranteed autonomous Madhes province with the right to self-determination.

At the programme, an underground outfit, Janatantrik Tarai Mukti Morcha announced merger with FSF-N. Yadav welcomed the leaders and cadres of the underground outfit.
