Oli sees light at tunnel’s end
JHAPA: Senior leader of the CPN-UML KP Sharma Oli today expressed hope that the present political impasse would soon be resolved through a dialogue.
"The disruption of the parliament has hindered the passage of the appropriation bill and affected several other state affairs," Oli told mediapersons in Birtamod. The disruption would not last longer, he predicted.
"If the representatives elected by the people do not work in the parliament but go on disrupting it continuously, they have lost moral rights to enjoy their salary and allowances," the veteran said. When asked to comment on the elevation of Sujata Koirala as the deputy PM, he, however, declined to comment saying it was a matter to be analysed later.
