JHAPA, SEPTEMBER 14

CPN-UML Chairman and former prime minister KP Sharma Oli today slammed the Supreme Court for dislodging his government from power and challenged other parties to defeat the UML in the next general election.

Addressing his party's gathering at Birtamod of Jhapa, Oli expressed confidence that his party would win the polls and return to power after 14 months.

Oli accused Madhav Kumar Nepal and Pushpa Kamal Dahal for dividing the CPN-UML. He, however, said the division would not affect the UML.

He said that Madhav Kumar Nepal had failed to divide the party.

Oli also charged Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota of being biased against the UML. "A speaker should act in a free and fair manner, but Sapkota was involved in splitting the largest party of the country," Oli accused.

Oli reiterated that people had voted his party to power but the apex court had dislodged it from power. He said the country had made unprecedented progress during his regime. "No one can stop our victory. We shall form the government after 14 months," he assured.
