Two gunned down

DHANGADHI: An unidentified group of about a dozen men killed two persons and injured one member of a family at the Hasuliya VDC of the Kailali district on Thursday. It also looted Rs 12,000 in cash and other valuables from the house, District Police Office, Kailali, said. The gang entered the house of Khundu Ram Chaudhary and shot death the house owner and his son, Ganesh Chaudhary. Khundu Ram’s wife Ghisiya Devi sustained severe head injury. — HNS

TRIBHUVAN NAGAR: Six persons sustained injuries when an ambulance heading towards Tulsipur from Ghorahi met with an accident at Ratanpur of Tribhuvan Municipality on Friday afternoon.
