Security beefed up

KATHMANDU: Following sporadic blasts in Bangladesh on Wednesday, the Embassy of Bangladesh in Kathmandu said on Thursday that “adequate measures have been taken to provide security to all foreign missions and foreign nationals in Bangladesh.” The embassy, in a press release, said Bangladesh has arrested a number of miscreants and has directed continuation of the drive. — HNS

KATHMANDU: The foreign ministry, in a statement issued on Thursday, has expressed shock over several terrorist explosions carried out in different places of Bangladesh on Wednesday. Government is disturbed by the loss and damages inflicted to the lives and properties of the innocent people, the ministry statement said. — HNS
