Twins drown in Fewa
POKHARA: The bodies of two persons were found floating in Fewa Lake on Tuesday. The locals informed the police after they saw the bodies, which have been identified as those of 17-year-old twins — Ram and Laxman Parajuli. The Parajuli brothers had been missing since Sunday, the day they had gone boating on the Fewa Lake. — HNS
521 UML cadres quit
GAIGHAT: At least 521 UML cadres, including former secretary of Siraha district committee, Hira Bahadur Sunuwar, have quit the party. A statement issued by them said they quit the party extending their support to the King’s February 1 move. The decision was taken at a meeting of party workers on Tuesday. — HNS

KATHMANDU: National Human Rights Commission member Gokul Pokharel on Tuesday suggested that the Nepal FM continue with its Rajdhani Khabar programme. The government has ordered the FM station be shut down for the said programme. According to Nepal FM, Pokharel told the FM the commission has informed the government about the condition of FM. — HNS
