Bus-hit kills woman

RUPANDEHI: One woman was killed when a microbus hit her in Rupandehi on Monday. According to the Police the bus hit Rambha Devi Murau of Bahadurgunj-8, when she was crossing the road at Nayagaun, Ward No 14 of Butwal. She was taken to the Lumbini Zonal Hospital where she died. —HNS

11 APF men hurt in mishap

DHANGADHI: Eleven personnel of the Armed Police Force were hurt when a vehicle they were travelling in met with an accident near Attariya on Monday. Meanwhile, a report from Hetaunda said three soldiers, who were abducted by Maoists from Parsa on July 10, were freed in Hetaunda, on Monday. — HNS
