UTL bookings open

Kathmandu: United Telecom Ltd (UTL) resumed booking on Saturday, following the government’s decision on Friday to allow the company to re-open its booking for new connections. “We have resumed new bookings and are expecting more people to seek commenctions,” said Dinesh Mahur, deputy general manager of UTL. UTL services temporarily closed following the February 1 royal tak-eover, but resumed last month. — HNS

15 hurt in mishap

BARA: At least 15 people were injured when a passenger bus heading to Kakarvitta from Kathmandu met with an accident at Patlaiya-Nijgadh section of the Mahendra Highway on Saturday. The accident occurred when a Birgunj-bound bus hit the bus near Dudhaura River, Bara. — HNS
