18 passengers hurt

DHANGADHI: Eighteen passengers sustained injuries when a bus heading to Mahendranagar from Kathmandu met with an accident at Bardiya National Park along the East-West Highway on Monday. “Eight critically injured have been taken to Nepalgunj while others with minor injuries have returned home after treatment at Lal Ratna Hospital,” police said. CHARIKOT: Police arrested one with a rhino horn in Dolakha on Sunday. The arrested, Kumar Basnet of Bhimeshwor Municipality-7, was handed over to District Forest Office on Monday, police confirmed. —HNS
