One killed, 42 hurt

POKHARA: One person was killed and 42 injured when a minibus met with an accident at Subba Chautari in Hemja VDC-9 of Kaski on Thursday morning. The minibus was heading from Kaski’s Rivan VDC-4 to Milanchowk of Hemja. Thirty-five-year-old Tej Bahadur BK, a resident of Lwangghalel VDC-4, died on the spot when the overloaded bus met with the accident. The injured people are undergoing treatment in Pokhara-based Manipal Teaching Hospital and Western Regional Hospital. — HNS
