Diaspora visit to Susta

KATHMANDU: United Nepalese Front (UNF), Europe, on Wednesday began a two-day observation tour of Triveni Susta in Nawalparasi to look into the border dispute. The tour members will hold interactions with local officials and people from various walks of life on the issue. The journey sponsored by UNF, an umbrella organisation of Nepalese living across the Europe, began from Exhibition Road. The team has 40 members, including border experts, UNF representatives and media personnel. — HNS

Two killed in mishap

PHIDIM: Two persons were killed and eight injured when a truck heading to Jhapa from Taplejung met with an accident at Amarpur of Panchthar on Tuesday night. The deceased have been identified as Bhima Mishra, 29, and Hasta Bahadur Shiva, 22. — RSS
