Left Wing meet ends

KATHMANDU: The first three-day national convention of the Revolutionary Left Wing (RLW) concluded here on Thursday. The convention formed a 25-member committee in which two positions will be filled later. Krishna Adhikari ‘Rabi’ has been elected as the president of the revolutionary wing committee while Bhakta Rashaili has been elected as the vice president. — HNS

Graft case filed

KATHMANDU: The Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) on Thursday filed a corruption case against the chairman of Bishal Bazaar Company Limited Rabindra Lal Shrestha and his brother Devendra Lal Shrestha. Stating that the duo caused a financial loss of Rs 14 million to the company, the CIAA filed the case in the Special Court.— HNS
