Three found dead
DHADING: Three members of a family were found dead in mysterious condition while two were found unconscious in a rented house at Bhumesthan-8 in Dhading on Friday night. Krishna Pariyar, 32, his son Prakash, 14, and daughter Sharmila, 8, who were living in the house belonging to Shankar Amatya, were found dead in mysterious condition, according to the locals. Krishna’s wife Reena, 30, and son Santosh, 12, were found unconscious and are undergoing treatment in Kathmandu. Police suspected that the trio might have died of suffocation. — HNS
Bandh hits life
GAUSHALA: Normal life in Jaleshwor, the Mohattari district headquarters, remained crippled on Saturday due to the indefinite bandh called by local youths to protest the decision of the Council of Ministers last month to shift the Jaleshwor-based administrative offices to Bardibas. Factories, businesses and markets remained closed due to the strike. Vehicles remained off the road. — RSS
Indian aid for school
NUWAKOT: The Indian government will provide Rs 13.6 million assistance to Kamrudevi Secondary School at Duipipal of Nuwakot to construct a new building. The amount will be used to construct a three-storey building, toilets, taps and a compound, according to the school. The embassy has also pledged to provide furniture for the school. — RSS
