Foundation stone laid

NEA official freed

RAJBIRAJ: Engineer Hari Narayan Thakur, chief of the Hanumannagar unit of the Nepal Electricity Authority in Saptari, was set free on Thursday night.The engineer was abducted by an unidentified group on May 20. “A team of police personnel helped him reach his house in Kodladi Madhesapur when he contacted police from Kochabarbari village development committee the same night,” said superintendent of police (SP), Subash Chandra Chaudhari. His brother, Mahendra Narayan, who was kidnapped along him, was freed a day earlier, the superintendent of police further said. — HNS
