LAHAN: A girl died and her sister was injured when a tractor hit their bicycle there were riding on in Lahan of Siraha district along the East-West Highway on Saturday.

The deceased has been identified as Shyama Kumari Chaudhary (16) of Haripur in Saptari. Her sister Babita has sustained injuries in the accident.

Critically injured in the incident, Shyama was rushed to the hospital. But she she died on the way.

Babita is currently receiving treatment at Ram Prasad Uma Memorial Hospital in Lahan.

The Chaudhary sisters were riding on the bicycle when the tractor (Sa 1 Ta 1802) hit them at Padariya.
