BHOJPUR: One person died and another went missing after being swept away by the Pikhuwa Rivulet in Bhojpur district on Friday.

The deceased has been identified as 15-year-old Man Kumar Tamang of Kot VDC-8.

According to DSP Raj Kumar Lamsal of the District Police Office, Bhojpur, Man Kumar was found dead on the bank of rivulet near the Eastern Hydro Power.

Police said that 15-year-old Subash Tamang has gone missing in the incident.

The duo had ventured into the rivulet to swim.

The whereabouts of Subas is yet to be ascertained.

A police team have been deployed to search him, DSP Lamsal added.
