INARUWA: A person died after a bus knocked him down in Inaruwa Municipality-9 in Sunsari district on Saturday night.

The deceased has been identified as Karma Lal Uraun (35) of Dumraha, Inaruwa Municipality-8.

The incident occurred when the bus (Na 2 kha 9846) hit Uraun in Babiya,critically injuring him yesterday.

The critically injured Uraun was rushed to the Inaruwa Hospital where he breathed his last during the course of treatment, informed the police.

The bus involved in the incident has been impounded while a search is on for the absconding driver, police informed.
