BHOJPUR: A woman died and a youth injured when a commuter bus met with an accident at Dangihat along East-west Highway in Morang on Thursday.

The deceased has been identified as Lagiya Khabas, 57, of Dangihat of the district. Critically injured Khabas breathed her last while undergoing treatment at Dharan-based BPKIHS, whereas critically injured Sanjib Bista, 17, of Keraun VDC, has been receiving treatment at a nearby hospital, said police.

The bus hit the duo while they were crossing road on Thursday afternoon. Driver of the bus has been detained. Further investigation into the incident is under way, said police.
