One held with fake notes

Bara, February 25:

The district court of Bara todaysent Rambha Devi Baitha, 35, a resident of Motipur village development committee ward number 1, to judicial custody for possession of counterfeit Indian currency notes.

The order was issued by a single bench of judge Ajay Raj Upadhyaya. Police had seized 94 fake Indian currency notes of Rs 100, and one Rs 1,000 note, one homemade gun and bullets, from Baitha’s house. The counterfeit currency notes were said to be countefeit by the Central Police Forensic Laboratory.

Police said Rambha’s husband was absconding. In her statement Rambha has claimed that she has been falsely charged.
