Horn and hooves secured; no visible injuries on body
KATHMANDU, MAY 15
An adult male one-horned rhinoceros was found dead at Lokaha Syauli in Kawasoti Municipality-1.
According to Bishnu Prasad Adhikari, chief of the Division Forest Office, Nawalpur, the rhino was discovered in a maize field belonging to a local resident.
The horn and hooves of the animal have been secured by authorities.
Preliminary observations show no visible injuries on the body, and the exact cause of death has yet to be determined.
Officials said further investigation is underway.
