RAUTAHAT: A man was kidnapped from Laxmipur Belbichhawa VDC in Rautahat on Friday night. Pralhad Shah Kanu and Rakesh Shah Kanu, who were asleep in their residence in Laxmipur Belbichhawa-2, were kidnapped, but Rakesh managed to flee later, the District Police Office, Rautahat, said. Bir Bahadur Pulami, Police Inspector, said that an investigation is underway after Daroga Mukhiya, Bhola Mukhiya and Gagan Mukhiya, all suspected of being involved in the kidnapping, were arrested.
