BAJHANG: A person was killed while five others were injured in a jeep accident in Jaya Prithvi Municipality-6 in Bajhang district today.

The accident took place when the jeep (Se 1 Ja 562) heading to Rupatola from Chainpur plunged into the Seti River at the place.

The deceased is 46-year old Lal Singh Bohara, of Rilu VDC.

The injured are Lalit Singh (33) of Melbisauna VDC-5, Dev Bohara (11) and Sushila Bohara (14) of Rilu VDC-4, and Shilpa Bohara (15) of Rilu VDC-1.

The injured are undergoing treatment at the Bajhang Hospital.

Police have arrested jeep driver Devraj Bohara and are carrying out a necessary investigation into the case.
