BAGLUNG: Floods following heavy rainfall claimed the life of one person in Daga stream in Jaljalam Baglung on Tuesday.

The deceased has been identified as 38-year old Patiram Salami a resident of Talkot, Jaljala.

On the other hand, life in Gulmi was severely affected by landslides caused by the rainfall.

According to the District Police Office Gulmi, the landslide swept way the house of Gyeneshor Khanal injuring Ajita Kanal, 5, Aarati Kanal, 6 and Kalpana Khanal, 26 in Hastichaur. Two of the injured are reported to be in serious condition.

Similarly Khim Bhahadur Pachhai, 18 son of Chura Bahadur Pachhai a resident of Derlamchaur was seriously injured when a landslide swept their house away.
