Gaur: A man was shot to death and another sustained injuries when an unidentified group opened fire at them at 10 pm on Wednesday night.

The deceased and injured have been identified as Bed Sharan Mahato, a resident of Katahariya, Rautahat and Jayamangal Yadhav, a local resident of Gaur, respectively. The injured is undergoing treatment in a local hospital.

According to Bir Bahadur Pulami, Inspector of District Police Office, Rautahat the cause behind the attack is yet to be established. He added that the unidentified group of 4-5 persons waylaid Yadhav and Mahato when they were returning home from Katahariya market and shot at them.
