DHANGADHI: One person was killed while three others sustained injures in a jeep accident in Sunarya Rural Municipality-7 of Baitadi district on Thursday morning.

The deceased has been identified as jeep driver Dhan Bahadur Bohara (27), of Bungal Municipality-11 of Bajhang district, informed Sudurpaschim Provincial Traffic Police Office, Attariya.

According to police, the incident occurred when the jeep (Se 1 Ja 843) en route from Dhangadhi to Bajhang, met with an accident in Alugaira at around 5:00 am today.

The injured have been identified as Janak Raj Bhatta (35), Ganga Dutta Bhatta (40), both of Purchaudi Municipality-4 of Baitadi and Harish Bohara (27) of ChirBitthad of Bajhang.

All three injured have been sent to Dadeldhura Hospital for treatment, informed police.
