Kalaiya, September 18:

An unidentified gang of six persons shot dead 35-year-old Basir Miya Ansari of Amritgunj village development committee- 9 in Bara district on Wednesday night.

Ansari was gunned down while he was going to buy medicine to Bisundar of the VDC, the police said.

Demanding action against the murderers and compensation for the deceased’s family, kin of the dead disrupted the vehicular movement on Kalaiya-Birgunj road section by burning tyres on Thursday.
