KATHMANDU, APRIL 19
The opposition leaders in Province 1 are preparing to file a no-trust motion against Chief Minister Sher Dhan Rai after receiving 'green signal' from Khanal-Nepal faction of the ruling CPN-UML.
After consecutive no-trust motions were tabled against the CMs of Gandaki and Lumbini province respectively, opposition leaders in province 1 are making preparations along the lines.
The main opposition party Nepali Congress along with CPN-Maoist Centre, Janata Samajwadi Party- Nepal and Sanghiya Loktantrik Rastriya Manch, are preparing to file the motion against CM Sher Dhan Rai.
Earlier, state assembly members from the Dahal-Nepal faction of the then NCP (NCP) had tabled a no-trust motion against CM Rai on December 27, 2020.
