Order issued to maintain cleanliness
Dailekh, April 29
The Dailekh District Court has issued a prohibitory order in name of District Development Committee, municipality and the police administration to maintain cleanliness in the district headquarters.
A bench of judge Prakash Prasad Pandit issued the order after advocate duo Mani Raj Acharya and Matrika Prasad Khanal filed a petition at the Dailekh Court on April 8 against “encroachment of the district’s religious, archaeological and historical sites” by residents of the central town.
The court issued a prohibitory order responding to a petition, said registrar Govinda Acharya.
The petitioners argued in their petition that the DDC, DAO, police, municipality and traffic police are responsible for managing garbage on the streets.
