Kathmandu, April 4

An orientation programme for defence correspondents of leading media institutions concluded at the Army Officer’s Club on Monday.

The orientation aiming to apprise about Nepali Army’s activities, general operation and services, was organised at the initiative of the Directorate of Public Relations of the national force from March 30 to April 4.

As many as 20 correspondents, who write on defence and national security beats, and one representative from the Ministry of Defence took part in the orientation programme.

It was concluded by Major General Rajendra Bikram Shah.
