Pact opens new vistas: Thapa
Kathmandu, November 25:
Rastriya Janshakti Party supremo Surya Bahadur Thapa today conceded that the understanding between the seven-party alliance and the Maoists has created a “new situation”. “The event (understanding) has indeed become a political reality. Something which has unfolded with national and international events in backdrop, the event is something which has attracted the attention. None can overlook this,” a statement issued by Thapa reads. Thapa also conceded that the event has thrown open many possibilities. He also stressed the need to take recourse to the constitution to restore peace. “It is however crucial to see to it that the concerned sides are cautious when trying to give it a shape.”
