Pahadi’s plea to Maoists, parties

Hetauda, May 19:

Human Right activist, Krishna Pahadi, said the Maoists and political parties cannot go out of the peace track after the endorsement of the historic declaration of the House of Representatives.

He said this while inaugurating a programme organised by Nepal Jaycees in Hetauda today.

Peoples’ desire for peace should not be neglected because people took to the streets to withdraw the terrorist tag imposed on Maoist and also paved a way leading to an election to a constituent assembly, he said.

He said date for the election to constituent assembly should be announced early and inclusiveness should be adopted while restructuring the nation.

Pahadi said, people have given the mandate to merge the Maoist army to the Nepali army. He also stressed need for management of weapons.

Speaking at the function, national chairperson of Nepal Jaycees, Rajesh Mohan Pradhan, expressed hope that there will be rule of law in the country.
