Pakistan ready to help Nepal: Ambassador Javed
CHITWAN: Pakistani Ambassador to Nepal Mazhar Javed on Tuesday said development could not take place as expected in Nepal due to dependence on a single country.
Addressing a programme organised by the Chitwan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) in Chitwan, he suggested establishing good relations with various countries for a widespread development in Nepal.
Stating that Nepal had to undergo various problems and difficulties largely due to its dependency on a single country, apparently India, he added that the Pakistani government would be ready to provide help to Nepal if Nepal created a conducive environment for the same.
He also stressed the need for increasing production of goods in Nepal and search for its market.
Javed said, “Chitwan is an area with potentials for poultry production,” suggesting promotion of production there.
Also, on the occasion, Chitwan CCI President Rajan Gautam emphasised the need to benefit from Pakistan by further strengthening Nepal's trade relations with it.
