Sindhulimadhi, July 22

A three-member committee has been formed for management of human resources in local levels of Sindhuli district.

The committee is headed by Sindhuli Chief District Officer Tara Bahadur Karki, with Local Development Officer Shiva Prasad Humagain and Krishna Prasad Devkota as members.

CDO Karki said the committee had already started its work by collecting details, including the required number of staff members and employment quotas in local levels of the district. “We will deploy staffs in local levels within 15 days,” he informed.

According to Karki, any decision regarding the placement of employees who served on a contractual basis at Sindhuli District Coordination Committee will be taken only after directive from the Ministry of Federal Affairs and Local Development . He also said administrative posts at municipalities and rural municipalities in the district would be fulfilled provided the ministry made an arrangement.

LDO Humagain said they could not take any decision in that regard at the district level as the employees integration bill was under discussion in the parliament. He said his office would seek the ministry’s say on whether to depute the temporary staff members from DCC to local units. He informed that the newly-formed committee would fix work stations and deploy staff in line with the ministry’s directive.

Humagain further said managing 12 staffers who worked on a contractual basis at the District Coordinatnio Commitee was a tough job.
