Kathmandu, June 27:

The Nepali Education Council (NEC) has honoured poet Bharat Raj Pant this year with the prestigious ‘Adikabi Bhanu Bhakta Puraskar’. Pant was selected for his contribution to poetry for the last five decades.

The NEC council meet to name the recipient was held on June.

According to a release issued today, the meeting also announced to provide this year’s ‘Gopal Pandey Asim Puraskar’ to Professor Dr Chudamani Bandhu for his contribution to improvement in language research.
